The Happy Hearts charity gala dinner with an exclusive program is already firmly established among European charities. On June 22, 2019, it was held for the eighth time and, as always, the founder of Happy Hearts and world-renowned philanthropist Petra Němcová came to support him. The gala dinner was hosted by Karolína Bosáková, director of Happy Hearts and Petr Šimůnek, chief editor of Forbes magazine, who traditionally supports this special evening.
A record sum of over 18 million crowns was collected during The Gala evening. Proceeds from the event went to the construction of new Happy Hearts schools in countries affected by natural disasters.
The Gala evening took place in the beautiful premises of the Žofín Palace and was received by many distinguished foreign guests, including Caroline Scheufele, Art Director and Vice-President of Chopard, who received the Hearts of Gold Award from the famous racer Jacky Ickx. Frank Guistra, a Canadian businessman, investor and philanthropist, received another Humanitarian leadership award. The third award One world was won by American record producer and the winner of 28 Grammys, Quincy Jones. The auction was led by world-famous auctioneer Simon de Pury.
The next Gala dinner will take place on 20th of June 2020.
